 Beverly A. Matthews Born: August 16, 1938 Died: October 5, 2009 Multi-organ failure Beverly A. Matthews, age 71, passed away October 5, 2009, from multi organ failure. Born in Exeter, Missouri, she was a graduate of Washburn High School, Class of 1956. She is a retired Teamster from Rainbo Baking Company., a devoted mother and grandmother, with tons of community involvement, ranging from P.T.A., Cub Scouts, Alert Neighbors and Democratic Volunteer. She loved researching family history and working in her gardens. She is preceded in death by her father, John L. Painter; mother, Esther Geneva German Painter; brother, Bruce L. Painter; son, Russell L. Matthews and daughter, Paula K. Matthews. She is survived by siblings, Doris Reed, Virgie Dunlap, Dorance Painter and Sue Painter; father of her children, Riley G. Matthews and sons, Riley G., Ricky L. and Saundra S., her daughter. Six grandchildren, Christy, John, Brandi, Kevin, David and Aaron Chase; six great grandchildren, Jeffrey, Skye, Brandon, Kenny, Samantha and Makayla. Funeral services were held at 12:00 noon Saturday, October 10, 2009, at Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville. Pastor Doyle Russell conducted the services. Burial at Maplewood Cemetery, Exeter. |
